片山財務大臣の世銀・IMF合同開発委員会次期議長指名について（令和8年10月13日）
Minister of Finance Katayama has been nominated as the next Chair of the World Bank-IMF Development Committee and is scheduled to be formally elected at the Committee's meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 15th of this month. The term runs for two years, from the end of the Bangkok meeting until October 2028, and this is the first time since the Committee was established in 1974 that a Chair has been selected from Japan.

片山財務大臣が世銀・IMF合同開発委員会次期議長に指名されました。今月15日にタイ・バンコクで開催される本委員会において、正式に選任される予定です。 任期はバンコクでの本委員会終了後から2028年10月までの2年間です。日本から議長が選出されるのは、1974年の同委員会の設置以降初めてです。 日本として、今後、片山新議長のもとで委員会運営に一層積極的に貢献し、世銀及びIMFによる開発課題に対する取組を引き続き後押ししてまいります。 （参考）世銀・IMF合同開発委員会 世銀・IMF合同開発委員会は、開発をめぐる諸問題について、世銀・IMFに勧告、報告を行うことを目的として、1974年に設置。原則として世銀又はIMF理事選出国の大臣級委員25名からなり、通常、春・秋の年2回開催。 財務省ホームページトップへ戻る
